Ingredients
- 2 quarts water, divided
- ½ cup raw honey
- 1 ¼ cups fresh lemon juice (from about 6-8 medium lemons)
Instructions
1. In a large pitcher, pour 2 cups of warm water. Add the ½ cup of raw honey. Stir well, using a long spoon or whisk, until the honey is completely dissolved into the warm water.
2. Cut your lemons in half and squeeze out all that beautiful fresh lemon juice. Run the fresh lemon juice through a fine-mesh strainer to catch any pulp or seeds. Add the 1 ¼ cups of strained fresh lemon juice to your pitcher with the dissolved honey water.
3. Now, add the remaining 1 ½ quarts (6 cups) of cold water to the pitcher with the honey and lemon mixture. Give everything a gentle stir to combine all the delicious flavors.
4. For the best experience, chill your homemade honey lemonade in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Or, if you can’t wait, pour it over plenty of ice!
