Description

This quick and easy strawberry yogurt smoothie is a delicious and healthy treat. Made with fresh strawberries, creamy yogurt, and a touch of sweetness, it’s perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (about 140g) whole fresh or frozen strawberries (hulled if fresh)
  • 1 medium ripe banana (peeled, frozen is best for thickness)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) nonfat plain Greek yogurt OR coconut yogurt for a dairy-free option
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter (like almond or cashew) or chia/flax seeds
  • 1.5 cups (360ml) unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk, regular milk, or water)

Instructions

1. Gather your blender and all measured ingredients.

2. Add your fresh or frozen strawberries into the blender (hull fresh ones).

3. Add your peeled banana (frozen banana works best for a thick smoothie).

4. Scoop the plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt) into the blender.

5. Drizzle in 1-2 teaspoons of honey (or your chosen sweetener).

6. Add your tablespoon of nut butter or seeds for extra fiber and protein.

7. Carefully pour in the unsweetened almond milk (or preferred liquid).

8. Secure the lid and blend on low, then gradually increase to high speed until smooth and creamy.

9. Taste your smoothie and adjust thickness with more milk, or sweetness with more honey, then blend again quickly.

10. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately, garnishing with a fresh strawberry slice if desired.

Notes

Use frozen fruit for a thick, frosty smoothie. Layer ingredients (liquids first, then softer fruits, then frozen, then boosters) for smooth blending. Taste and adjust sweetness/thickness to your preference. A splash of vanilla extract can deepen flavor. Add protein powder for a more filling smoothie. Use coconut yogurt and plant-based milk for a dairy-free/vegan option. Variations include Berry Medley, Tropical Twist, Green Goddess, Chocolate Strawberry, Ginger Zinger, and Nutty Crunch toppings.
